This policy explains how the Personal Finance mobile application handles information. By using the app, you acknowledge the practices described below.

01

Information you add

Personal Finance lets you record accounts, balances, budgets, income, expenses, investments, recurring entries, categories, dates and notes. This information is provided by you and is used to calculate the dashboards and reports shown in the app.

The app does not connect to your bank, execute transactions, provide loans or collect payment-card credentials.

02

Where your data is stored

By default, your records stay in local storage on your device. BlissByte does not receive local-only records.

You may optionally enable cloud storage and enter the address of a compatible HTTPS server. When you do, transaction records are sent to and stored by that server so the app can retrieve and update them. You choose and control the server; its operator's privacy practices also apply. BlissByte does not operate a default cloud service for this app.

03

How information is used

Information is processed only to provide app functions such as saving entries, calculating totals, displaying reports, managing budgets and importing or exporting CSV text. We do not sell personal information, serve advertising or use your financial records for marketing.

04

Sharing and disclosure

BlissByte does not share your records with advertisers or data brokers. Data leaves the device only when you intentionally export it or enable cloud storage with a server you select, or when disclosure is required by applicable law.

05

Retention and deletion

You can delete individual transactions and accounts in the app. Local app data can also be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. CSV text that you export is controlled by you.

If you enable cloud storage, retention and deletion on the selected server depend on that server. Deleting a transaction in the app sends a deletion request to the configured server.

06

Security

Cloud connections require HTTPS, and cleartext network traffic is disabled on Android. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so use only a server you trust and protect access to your device.

07

Children

Personal Finance is intended for adults and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

08

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
